Soft washing is a power washing technique used when pressure is not ideal. Soft washing typically uses higher (GPM) gallons per minute and often stronger cleaners.
Soft washing is more often used on applications including stucco, asphalt, painted surfaces or other delicate surfaces that could be damaged by high pressure. Both soft washing and pressure washing can be combined to provide a better overall clean without relying exclusively on large amounts of cleaners and the combination is recommended when working on projects that may include a lot of trees, bushes or other plants that might be sensitive to cleaners.
Towson Powerwashing is a low-chemical company, choosing to spend additional time to clean a surface properly without large amounts of chemicals. When cleaners are used, TPW only uses degradable cleaners and is extremely careful of plant life and recreation areas.
